We are on Fuyacho Street in Nakagyo ward, about a four-minute walk from Karasuma-Oike Station. The shopfront is narrow and easy to miss. Look for the chalkboard with the week's Brix readings.
Brix and what it means
We print a Brix reading on every bottle. It measures sugar as a percentage by weight; it is a description of the fruit, not a health claim and not a quality score. A lower reading is not a worse juice.
Nothing here is medical advice
Cold-pressed juice is food. Our notes about acidity, pulp, and fibre describe how a drink tastes and behaves, not what it will do for your health. We make no nutritional or therapeutic claims and you should not read any into our writing.
Menu changes
The board follows what the farms have. A blend can disappear mid-week when the fruit runs out, and retired recipes are published rather than quietly deleted. We cannot guarantee any specific juice on any specific day.
Governing law
Japanese law applies; the Kyoto District Court has jurisdiction at first instance.
Tasting flights
Daily flights are made from whatever is on the board that morning. A flight booked in advance is not a guarantee of specific juices, only of a seat and a set of pours.
Changes to these terms
As the menu structure and the farm list change, these terms are revised. The revised text and its effective date appear on this page; continuing to use the site after that date means you accept them.
Severability
If one provision fails, the others continue to apply. Nothing here overrides the rights you hold as a consumer under Japanese law.

Bottle returns and deposits
Bottles are glass and returnable. Bring one back clean and the deposit comes off your next purchase. A chipped or cracked bottle cannot be reused and the deposit is not returned on it.
We do not refill a bottle you have carried around all day, however clean it looks. Every fill starts from a bottle washed here.
What we are responsible for
We are responsible for what goes into the bottle and how it is labelled: the ingredients listed, the Brix printed, and the date it was pressed.
We are not responsible for how a bottle is treated after it leaves the counter. Cold-pressed juice is unpasteurised and it does not survive an afternoon in a warm bag. Keep it cold and drink it the same day.
Suggestions and credit
If you suggest a blend and we put it on the menu, you are credited on the tag under whatever name you choose. That credit is the whole arrangement — there is no payment and no claim over the recipe on either side.
